At Saharsh Learning Foundation, our commitment to transforming education is driven by passion, but it is guided by proof. We believe that good intentions are not enough; true impact must be measurable, demonstrable, and used to fuel continuous improvement. Our Research & Impact division is the engine that ensures our programs are not just well-meaning but are genuinely effective in creating positive, lasting change for students and educators. 

 

Our philosophy is built on an evidence-based approach. We don't just hope for the best—we systematically measure our progress and rigorously analyze the outcomes. This commitment to data allows us to be accountable to our partners, stakeholders, and the communities we serve. More importantly, it allows us to learn, adapt, and innovate, ensuring that every resource is directed toward strategies that deliver the greatest possible impact.

 

Our research methodology is a continuous cycle of learning and improvement:

  • Defining Success: Before we launch any program, we establish clear, measurable goals. What specific changes do we want to see in student skills, teacher effectiveness, or institutional capacity?

  • Measuring with Purpose: We employ a mixed-methods approach to capture the full picture of our impact. This includes:

    • Quantitative Data: We track key performance indicators such as improvements in student learning outcomes, teacher retention rates, and the adoption of new teaching practices through baseline and endline assessments.

    • Qualitative Data: Numbers alone don't tell the whole story. We conduct in-depth interviews, classroom observations, and focus groups with students, teachers, and school leaders to understand the nuanced, human impact of our work. These stories of transformation provide context and depth to our data.

  • Analyzing for Insight: We analyze the collected data to identify what’s working, what can be improved, and why. This deep-dive analysis helps us understand the root causes of challenges and the key drivers of success.

  • Adapting for Excellence: The insights gained from our research are not just for reports; they are immediately fed back into our program design. This iterative process ensures our initiatives are always evolving to become more efficient, effective, and responsive to the real needs of our beneficiaries.
